Often, in our obsession with tools, development models, authoring techniques and such, we tend to forget that the ultimate objective of all that we write is to touch the lives of end users.

At this STC conference, let us re-focus and re-align ourselves to look at how each of us as technical communicators can touch lives. When our documents are written with this consciousness, there is no place for error. There is no scope for the delay, either.

So, let your ideas fly in. Any topic related to user assistance is welcome as long as it is relevant to the conference theme of Touching Lives.
