Library Rules:
1. Library fees and deposits will not be refunded.
2. The India chapter of the STC reserves the right to refuse membership to any individual without giving any reason.
3. The India chapter of the STC reserves the right to terminate membership of any member for any of the following reasons:
* Not paying library dues in time
* Violating library rules
* Not returning books/periodicals in time
* Not returning the books/periodicals in good condition
* Misusing library membership, library cards, and access to the library web pages
* Damaging the books/periodicals
* Photocopying books/periodicals.
* Not responding the e-mails, letters, and other communication sent by the library
* Any other reason that the STC India chapter considers sufficient for terminating the membership
4. If the membership is terminated, the members must return the books/periodicals already issued.
5. Tearing pages from the books, damaging the book cover, folding pages, writing on the books with a pencil, pen, marker, highlighter, scratching CD surfaces, will be considered as damage to library property; members who cause such damage must reimburse the library.
6. The India chapter of the STC reseves the right to refuse membership to any STC member whose membership has been terminated for disciplinary reasons.
7. The India chapter of the STC reserves the right to revise the library rules and guidelines from time to time.
