Ramesh: A Seasoned Pro

Ramesh Aiyyangar is employed with Symantec (earlier VERITAS) for the last 5+ years. He has worked in the field of technical communication for more than 12 years. Prior to joining the software industry, Ramesh had multi-disciplinary experience across various fields including journalism, corporate communications, public relations, training, and management.

All work and no play? Ramesh in a sporty mood

He has been associated with the Society for Technical Communications (STC) India Chapter for the last 5 years and has been actively contributing towards the chapter activities at various levels. In 2004 - he was part of the Admin Council, and Program Manager for STC India's 6th Annual Conference, Chennai. He is the column-editor for the 'Best Practices' column for STC India's award winning newsletter INDUS.

Ramesh's interests have focused on creating awareness about technical writing. He is the Group Owner and Moderator of MITWA (Mentors, Indexers, Technical Writers & Associates).

Ramesh holds a post graduate degree in Communications and Journalism from Pune University. Additionally, he pursued his studies in computers, English literature and German language.
