Informative Articles Dear Sir, The issue on e-learning was really useful. The articles by William Horton and Saul Carliner were impressive. I have created e-learning and instructional courseware for seven years and I realize by experience that all metrics of measurement are situation-dependent and nothing succeeds like common-sense. Saul’s article captures that common sense and makes it simple for practitioners pre-define a system of useful productivity measurement. However, like Saul mentioned, all metrics only prove or disown the original hypothesis. They shouldn’t ever be made the Bible. Use of human senses and an eye on customer’s cribs and accolades help.
