Job Title : Technical Publishing Engineer

The DNS Technical Publications team is looking for a writer who enjoys this type of atmosphere.

Additionally, you must demonstrate consistent, high-level use of technical writing principles and techniques for documentation. You have the ability to handle complex assignments with moderate supervision.

Requirements:

- Five years of relevant experience as a technical writer in a technical publication environment in support of high-technical engineering projects. The candidate must have knowledge of and be able to apply technical writing principles and techniques for software and hardware documentation.

- Framemaker experience, proficiency in Epic Editor, RoboHelp, Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, Teamsite, Documentum

- Knowledge of routing, firewall devices, networking, and network security is desirable.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for researching, designing, and developing information products that describe Juniper DNS products. The writer produces information products, which include but are not limited to the following: online help, electronic documents, CD-ROM, XML and HTML information, and paper documents. More interestingly, develop documentation for new product introduction.

- Typical work responsibilities include writing or revising descriptive and procedural documents for the intended users, researching content and audience information, using specifications, existing information, and interviews with the customers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop customer profiles and task analysis.

- Responsible for ensuring quality in the product documentation: The writer delivers documents that meet Juniper documentation standards of style, writing quality, and format for online media or paper. This role will be responsible for designing and writing online documentation for our product implementations, as well as editing and maintaining existing documentation with an emphasis on customer-focused deployment and operations content.

The successful candidate must develop extensive knowledge of the company’s products, processes and customer goals.
