The Society for Technical Communication (STC) is an individual membership organisation dedicated to advancing the arts and sciences of technical communication. STC is the largest organisation of its kind in the world.
The mission of STC is to improve the quality and effectiveness of technical communication for audiences across the world. Technical communication involves making complex technical information understandable and available to those who need it.
The India chapter of STC is carrying this movement forward in India. Formed in 1999, the India chapter is striving to build a vibrant technical communication community in India. The India chapter provides opportunities for ongoing learning and professional networking for technical communicators across the country.
One such activity is STC India’s career day. This year, one of our career days will be held in Hyderabad on March 22, 2008.
STC India's career days are large gatherings of technical communicators in India. At these events, aspiring technical writers and job seekers can submit their resumes to their prospective employers. Job advertisers can post their job notices and advertisements at the venue of the event. As a job advertiser, you can make a 20-minute presentation to publicize your company, job requirements, and benefits.
