Hi All,

I’m excited to share that our new Technical Communications channel on Adobe TV is now live.

If you are new to our TV platform, Adobe TV launched in 2008 and is Adobe’s online TV network, offering free training, inspiration, quick tips & tricks, interviews and information about our latest Adobe products & services.

Adobe TV enables you to watch when you want and where you want, save and comment on episodes, subscribe to your favorite channels, and post videos on your own blog.

Today our new Technical Communications channel is going live on Adobe TV with 5 shows, each with 3 episodes to start, and more shows and episodes to follow in the coming weeks. We are working on launching two more shows, namely Structured Authoring and Social Media.

You can read the complete post here on my blog: http://rjacquez.com/adobe-in-technical-communications-goes-prime-time-on-adobe-tv/

Since you all have a Social presence online, I’d like to respectfully ask that you help us share the news with your blog readers, Twitter followers, LinkedIn groups, Adobe Forum members, etc.

One of the easiest ways of doing this is to click the “Tweet” button located at the top left of this blog post, to share with your followers: http://rjacquez.com/adobe-in-technical-communications-goes-prime-time-on-adobe-tv/

Also, similarly to YouTube videos, Adobe TV also enables you to copy the “embed this video” code and then pasting it on your blog. The “Embed this video” option is illustrated here.

This means that if you blog and would like to include any of the episodes on our Adobe TV channel, you can do so my copying the code provided when clicking the “embed this video” link, as illustrated above.  I have already started replacing my old videos on my blog with embedded Adobe TV videos, using this method and you can see an example here: http://rjacquez.com/adding-links-and-rss-feeds-from-user-generated-content-to-online-help-video/

Furthermore, later this week, I’m planning on launching a Twitter giveaway of a full license of our Tech Comm Suite 2.5 in an effort to promote the launch of TCS 2.5, our new website and Adobe TV, so please keep an eye out for this.

We thank you in advance for your help and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Also, feel free to forward this to other people I may have forgotten. Thank You!

Sincerely,

RJ Jacquez
