Senior Technical Writer – 1 position

Role:
The Technical Writer will maintain currency of Work Packages performed by the Build Centre and ensure that the changes are agreed and communicated to all stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities   – Ensure Work package activates, artifacts and work instructions are kept current and aligned.  – Provide consultation in the creation and scoping of new Work Packages.  – Managing changes request and release of all changes  – Ensure quality of work package work instructions  – Ensure reference to known errors are captured within work instruction

Knowledge of Midrange server Builds is a plus.
Prior experience as Technical Writer is Mandatory.

Communication/Negotiation:
• Engaged as a professional who can work within a project environment
• Can work independently to execute and manage the End-to-End Change Management Process.
• Articulate, compare & implement solutions & alternative approaches based upon project objectives.
• Negotiates effectively with team members to define the Project goals, work content and schedules.
• Clearly communicates results to immediate management / project manager.
• Establishes and maintains clear mechanisms to communicate status.
• Must be able to effectively communicate resource, project issues and risks.
Education: Candidates with engineering background are preferred, although we
are open to exceptionally talented editors holding a technical writing
degree or certificate.
