You Decide the Venue of the 12th Annual STC Conference!

Its 2010 and the new STC admin council is raring to go – our theme for the year – this is the year of the technical communicator! This is one of the first decisions which we want you all to take for us!!
After a lot of thought, we have come up with a few destinations for the next conference which we feel will take STC to regions in India, as well as address the needs of a larger audience of technical communicators!
This survey will be available online for a month till 12/02/2010 and we strongly urge you to forward this email to all your friends and technical communicators who are interested in helping us choose the venue for the next conference.
We have also added a last question in the survey to encourage you to help us prioritize what you would like from the STC chapter, what value we can bring to you as a member or non member, and how we can together grow the technical communicator community here in India!
STC announcements are not permitted either on TWI or TWIN mailing lists, so we encourage you to forward this email to any of your technical communicator friends who may be interested!

We will publish the results on our STC website, STC mailing list, STC India Facebook Group, STC India Linked in Group, and Meetup groups and we encourage you all to join these lists or groups to get news and information on the STC activities happening all over the country in the months to come this year! You need not be an STC member to join these lists or groups!
Is there any update on the membership fee?
If you are referring to Annual Conference registration fee, then it is FREE for STC members and minimal for Non-STC India members.
